Classic car enthusiasts will have a wonderful time during Prewar days. On 9, 10 and 11 December, organisers will transform Kortrijk Xpo into a prewar car and motorcycle show. This unique classic car show aims to bring hobbyists and experts in the prewar car industry together.
"During Prewar Days, you will discover the masterpieces from the pre-war period, which are still making history today," says organiser Michael Bossaert. Due to the success of the first edition in 2019, Prewar Days is doubled in size this year. "Because we are unique in Europe due to our prewar car offer, we meet the high demand from both exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad."
Rare offer
Prewar Days is not a classic car show as we are used to seeing them. Visitors can discover cars and motorbikes that are up to 130 years old on display by exhibitors from all over Europe. Moreover, you will find the biggest pre-1940s luxury brands. Think Rolls Royce, Mercedes and Minerva, among others. But the first models of car giants, Ford, Citroën, Peugeot and Chevrolet are also represented. They contributed to the industrialisation and popularisation of the automobile. Vintage car enthusiasts more interested in motor sports will also find race cars from Aston-Martin, Bugatti and Bentley, among others.
The rare offer of the classic car show does not only apply to cars, it also includes pre-war motorbikes and three-wheelers. The wide range ranges from Harley Davidson and Indian Racer to Bollé. Finally, the organisers will present a special exhibition of the Mahy collection: the cars you could see earlier this year at the Winter Circus in Ghent.

If you would like to visit Prewar Days, it is best to buy your ticket in advance. A visit to Prewar Days will cost you 15 euros. If you order your admission ticket online, a discount code (PWD22K) gives you a 2 euro discount on the admission price.
